Jace stayed with me through the night, not in my bed, but surprisingly, he volunteered to sleep on the couch. Not that he was anything but respectful to me, but I was expecting him to put up a fight on where he should sleep. He moved the couch from my living room to my room and talked to me until I fell asleep.

He informed me about Elijah’s kind request from him and Nolani to keep an eye on me every night. Because apparently, I have the ability to sleep and wake up at another place. I didn’t believe Jace when he told me that, but I remember my second night here in Salvatore Hills. The one where I dreamt of Jace and Elijah for the first time. It explains why I woke up wearing a man’s dress shirt and the scratches on my body the next day.
