The moment Kai tasted his blood cloth, he pulled out. And then, he carefully studied Ezekiel's face only to see it still calm. Then Ezekiel pulled his hands off and waved them only to have the cut close up as though it had not even been cut in the first place. Kai then looked at Cole and a wicked smile flashed on his face. Now that he was filled with enough blood that would sustain him as long as he doesn't use his abilities to that extreme at least, he would be able to cause icy spike prison once more and this time around, furl it in such a way that not even Azriel could crash out of it. Abi and Zeres stood up as the lantern festival was coming to an end. Abi wanted to take him to her mom as per his request. Things had been going smoothly and Abi herself was happy about it. The Viscarrian Lieutenant would have gotten a lot to tell her if the festival had been ruined somewhat. So she was glad at the least.
