Everyone walked out except Daisy, who kept looking at two of them. Ethan glared as the girl and Daisy instantly walked away feeling a little scared of his dangerous stare. Ethan hugged back the girl lightly, gently patting her head. “It was just my way of saying thanks to you. You took such good care of me in the morning and you never asked anything in return. I thought, if a simple phone call could help you so much, then why not do it?” He softly spoke yet patting her back.

The girl cried for a few more minutes and calmed down a bit as the man kept patting her back. She finally retraced her arms and looked at his face. Ethan wiped away her tears, looking in her eyes. “If you understand what it is to be alone, even I understand how it feels when powerful people try to take advantage of you. I had promised to support you, and I will make sure justice is served to your father. Ok?” He smiled a bit holding her shoulders firmly, in an assuring manner.
