94: Sending Flowers

The next morning, the twins were seated at the breakfast table, eating their pancakes.

I had already finished mine, and was waiting for the kids.

When the doorbell rang, I froze. Was it him? I got up from the chair, and walked towards the front door.

I looked out the window and saw that it was a delivery guy. I opened the door, and signed the paper, thanking him.

After shutting the door, I looked at the bouquet of flowers in my hand. They were beautiful.

I read the card.

'Your favorite flowers because of you, you're my favorite.

- L.'

I sighed, throwing the flowers into the trash bin.

"Who is it, mommy?" Autumn asked.

I smiled, "No one, baby. Eat your food. Mommy has to run some errands."

She nodded and went back to eating. I walked upstairs to my room and took a quick shower, before heading to the closet to pick an outfit.

After getting dressed, I put on some makeup and fixed my hair. My phone dinged.
