I asked them before they could even settle their umbrellas at the back. The rain had just stopped.

"The motel staff told us that there was indeed an attack a month ago." Ace informed us while balancing himself when the car started on, leaving the motel behind.

"They told us that on the third of that month, a couple came looking for a room to spend a night in. The couple appeared as if they were new to the city. They paid a huge sum for it and didn't even ask for the change. The staff was happy and treated them the best they could. One woman amongst the staff continued on saying that, after about eight hours after the couple settled in their room, they heard some sounds coming from there. Movements of someone fighting reached them from below the second floor. At some point, they heard a howl and some sorrowful screams of a woman. When they went to check they found no one in the room, only shards of broken glass were found on the floor. Everything else remained as it was." Ace finished
