“Why don’t you go and just die?” Her grandmother said while slapping her hard. She was cleaning the floor when one of her younger cousin slipped because of water on the floor.

“Daadi, I didn’t do this intentionally,” 10 years old Swara said while crying bitterly, but her daadi slapped her again and pushed her on the floor. Swara fell on the floor, but suddenly she saw two pairs of feet standing in front of her.

She looks above and becomes shocked, “baba,” she said and immediately got up from the floor, and hugged that man tightly who was standing with a boy around 14 or 15 years old beside him. Both the boy and man had shocked expressions on their faces.

“Shekhar?” Her daadi said on which Swara being confused broke the hug and saw that her daadi called that person as Shekhar who was the mirror image of her father, Arnav.

“Daadi he is my dad,” Swara said on which her daadi gave her a death glare and while coming near them she pushed Swara aside. She because of a sudden push fell
