David Anderson sat behind his desk lost in deep thoughts, for a decade now. He had never won against Eric Adams nor anywhere close to him. He could still remember him as a struggling man who just set up his miserable company.

It was still fresh in his memory, he was yet to forget how Eric came to him to seek help that fateful day and he walked him out, only to hear that he had set up his own company three months after the incident.

He had laughed at him and also visited him to insult him and remind him where his place was in society which was among the less privileged as he had visioned then but it was a shock to him when Eric's miserable company magically started topping other companies and gaining heights. He had underestimated him and what he was capable of.

David had never imagined that someday, Eric's company would be above him, and Eric who used to be the miserable lad became ten times richer and had more influence and fame than him.
