Eric cleared his throat again to bring Amanda out of her thoughts. He smiled as he looked at her before saying.

"James will be resuming next week. His principal called to inform me and I guess he has told you about it," Eric said to Amanda with a more serious tone.

Amanda only nodded as she couldn't trust her voice, she was still feeling embarrassed and couldn't look up at Eric's face until he finished talking. She later left for the club after tutoring James to resume the day.

Close to her usual closing hour, she was informed a new customer had just arrived at the club who needed her services as other waiters were still very much busy and it was only her who was now preparing to leave.
