Chapter 48

Amanda came back from work late as usual, on getting home, she saw Jams sitting in the living room watching TV.

" James, why are you still up, " Amanda said, walking toward the couch.

"I miss you, you haven't been staying at home in the evenings, I just want to be up till you come back," James replied feeling sad.

He didn't know where Amanda had been going but it looked like she had gotten another job that had been keeping her very busy in the evenings. He wondered if his dad was aware of it and when he became aware of it, how he would behave.

"I'm sorry honey, I'm working part-time. I got another job, I have to do it if I really want to meet up with my bills. I have a lot to take care of," Amanda said, feeling sad for James.

Amanda knew how attached James is to her and how much they loved spending time with each other and she has been spending enough time with her.
