Chapter 68

Amanda left for Eric's home to meet James. She had already gotten over everything that had happened and because she would no longer have to go to work, she felt a little bit excited about spending the day with James before he would visit his grandparents.

She got there during James' closing hours from school and found James already at home. He ran to meet her and hugged her before leading her into her room.

They sat on his bed, ready to start the day. James looked up at Amanda with a smile and then grabbed his school bag.

"We are finally done with our exams, I want to check out my grade," James said.

"Alright, let's see what you got baby," Amanda said in a tiny voice which left James laughing out loud but he stopped amidst the laugh and frowned.

"I'm actually scared of checking my grades out, I don't know maybe they will look just like before," James said with fear.
