Gabriel went home immediately after he left Amanda. He unlocked his door and got in with the thoughts of the great time he just had with Amanda in the restaurant on his mind.

He thought about asking her out and how she would get to feel about it when he does. He only knew Amanda as a friend before he started having feelings for her but he didn't know how she felt about him. He thought Amanda might only see him as a childhood best friend who she was meant to stick with.

It got him restless as he thought about it. He abandoned the documents he was supposed to go through and sat in his study thinking of what to do.
