Quinn

Tyler and I decided that we will tell our parents of our decision tonight. We hoped that they’ll understand us. Especially me.

We planned to have dinner at my home. Tyler’s parents were happy to oblige, thinking it was another gathering for the family.

Everyone was talking animatedly, throwing random topics here and there. I only spoke whenever I was asked though. I was nervous because there’s a possibility that they might throw a fit. 

I feel my fiance’s hand on my thigh. He squeezes it, showing his support. I gather my confidence and exhale the growing tension I was feeling.
