Chapter 19: Oh my God, were you jealous?!

Knight had not woken up in a good mood. He hadn’t slept well at all and his usual morning coffee didn’t taste quite right, even though the barista insisted that everything was the same as always.

Including that first night at Sue’s, and the following night at Knight’s, the two of them had shared a bed for four consecutive nights.
