"Hold it right there, mister!"

I was on my way to spend the evening at the seashore like I always did, but a voice suddenly stopped me.

I turned around. And sure enough, it was Alaric, Becky's brother. He walked over to me with his hands in his pockets. From the look on his face, I could tell he wanted to stir up trouble as always.

Alaric hadn't failed to make it clear that he didn't like me. Although I didn't feel like he was obligated to like me, I couldn't help feeling that he was being such a douche.
