I stood up, smoking my cigarette as Elijah stood up, pure anger burning within his eyes.
I smirked coldly.
"What’s wrong? Does it hurt your fucking ego that your daughter’s not a baby anymore?" I taunted.
I knew it wasn’t the best way of handling things. But I wasn’t sorry for that night… It was the best fucking night I ever had, and I was not going to admit anything otherwise.
