62. Behind Those Gray Eyes

Liam had taken me to a hotel suite and had told me to go sleep in the bedroom whilst he did some work in the living room area. At first I didn’t want to, but when I realised Rayhan wasn’t going to come anytime soon, I entered the bedroom, locking the door and tried to sleep. I tossed and turned but sleep was not coming to me.
Sometimes I would be dropping off, only for my eyes to fly open and I would be fresh again. I picked up my phone, no message from him either…
I sighed, staring at the ceiling. I couldn’t sleep, not without his arms around me. I didn’t even realise that I hadn’t actually spent a night without him… I sighed softly, staring at the ceiling, pondering over everything that had happened.
