Chapter 43 Kitchen Dismay

Thirty something minutes later, they all sat down to breakfast at the dining which was set by the young Sammie and Julian.

Taking a bite into her mouth with her fork, Lucianda almost wheezed painfully as she tried to swallow what she had in her mouth. Knowing it’s next to impossible, she quickly grabbed for her glass of juice to aid in pushing it down her throat.

Unfortunately, the attentive woman sitting in front of her had been watching her reaction ever since she grabbed her cutleries.

Lucianda tried to laugh it off but she she knew she failed when her eyes only watered the more and the woman watching every flow of expression on her face winced and then grimaced almost at the same time.

“It’s bad isn’t it?” Laura murmured with a shame faced expression and Luci almost cursed herself for her carelessness. Of course she should have known the other woman will be watchful and should have been more careful.

“Hmm no, I just think it’s more salty than I’m used to which means it’s my fault.
