-MILA-

I opened my eyes feeling groggy from the medicine-induced sleep I had been in.

Lowell was still in the room with me.

"I just want to go home," I complained.

"I know. But they need to make sure you're one hundred percent okay before they release you."

I nodded, "I know," I had a few broken ribs and a lot of bruises. My body felt like I had been knocked over by a train.

"We'll stay in a motel for a few days before we get a flat or something. Just until we find this guy."

"Okay. That sounds fine. Will the police be around?"

He nodded, "Yes, I have the patrols, but it was clear that they're no match for this guy. So, I'm having Lobo watch you too, Especially if you need to go out."

I frowned, "Lobo? But you said that I needed to stay away from him."

"Yes, think of this like a necessary evil. I know that Lobo is the best one for this job. He is capable of being a match for this guy should he show up again."

"Okay," I sighed, "Lowell, I need to tell you something."
