24 Ticking Pocket Watch

The tick on the watch began to echo the silence of Vladimir’s room, when a small blow of the wind touched Ashlyn’s skin, she jolted and immediately woke up. She just felt somebody just kiss her cheek which made her look around before looking at her unconscious mate. She sighed defeatedly.

“I thought you were awake already…” Ashlyn sighed but she slightly smile. She reached out her hand and caressed gently the face of her mate when something suddenly sting her head.

‘Where are you, Ashlyn?’

‘Ashy, where did you sleep? You know that I can’t lie to your parents when you didn’t tell me where did you go.’
