CHOKE

He pulls me into the comfort of his warm embrace and shut the door behind me.

We remain like that and my worries start to fade. My muscles relax; reminding me of how sore they were, from surfing.

“Coffee, tea, chocolate or warm milk?” his voice reverberates through my entire body. I snuggle into him deeper.

“Do you have to go get it yourself?” I murmur.

“Yes.”

“Then don't. I want to stay like this for as long as possible.”

I hear him chuckle and feel it against my chest. The sound caused my nipples to tighten.

He wrapped his arms around me, a secure hug. And I was feeling very secure.

I would have fallen asleep in his comfortable arms if he didn’t pull me away from him to study my expression.

“Are you feeling better?”

I try not to look into those grey orbs; they were packed full with concern and it unnerved me.

“I will be, let me just rest here for a bit.”

He gave me a warm smile.

“I’m glad to see that you are feeling better.”
