Everyone stilled, including the drunk duo. And then my professor coughs a loud and fake cough.

“My student. Hasn’t she told you? She’s my student and i brought her out here, therefore her welfare is my priority.”

Leo is still stunned by what my professor let slip earlier so when he steers me to the car, Leo says nothing.
