Chapter 29 Complaints and Criticism

Not knowing the answer to her question, Henry picked up the glass of wine and poured it down his throat into his belly.

Emma looked at him with wide eyes and then pouted, making his lips curl upwards slightly.

He could see that she has gotten drunk and drunk people don't lie.

So, here is the chance for him to know the thing which had been bothering him all the time.

“Why don't you show any emotion when I touch you, Emma?”

Henry asked an unexpected question, making Emma startled for a fraction of a minute.

Henry was really looking forward to her answer, as she hates him, and he is the bad person who ruined her life, mostly all the negativity for him from her but again Emma amused him by holding the bottle of wine and gulping down the last drops left in the bottle.

COUGH … COUGH

Without dinner, Emma had poured a whole bottle of wine, it made her throat tingles from the bitterness and her stomach churned painfully too.

“Hah… You can’t even control a few glasses, and you’re here to play.”
