Chapter 61 Time Is Ticking

“Yes, Lilian…”

After a moment, Henry responded while continuing his work casually.

“Mr. Cooper, I know that I was wrong…” Lilian sounded apologetic and Emma raised her brow in confusion.

“Really?” Henry’s comment was sarcastic.

Emma could feel Lilian flinching at the other end at the sarcasm in his voice.

“I know you are David Cooper, but not, Henry Ford… I am sorry, I misunderstood you…” Lilian apologized in a sincere voice and Henry turned to his phone.

“Are you sure, Lilian? Because if this happens again, I don’t think I would be able to trust you anymore.” Henry sounded serious.

“No… No… This won’t happen anymore, Mr. Cooper… Never…”

Immediately Lilian clarified her intentions to him and Henry looked pleased by her obedience.

“Fine, I forgive you, then…” He said coldly and before Lilian would add more words to longer the conversation, he abruptly disconnected the call.

With a sarcastic look, Emma handed him his phone back and then returned to the pan where she was working bef
