I said to my mother with absolute finality before slowly going back to my room. I didn’t even take another look at the pictures again or reply to the sender because the little I have seen has left enough scar on my bleeding heart so I laid on the bed and did nothing. I kept staring at the gold chandelier on the ceiling till my puffy eyelids became really heavy but I refuse to cry again and I also don’t want to sleep because I might dream about this whole thing that I’m trying to forget and shut it out of my system.
