55. His Damnation

Two weeks passed and Aiden was fully invested in his plan to end the organization for good this time

He would spend most of the nights out and would come home late. She didn't confront him on this after that night when he soothed her worries away, but she missed him a lot.

It struck her hard when she realized she missed him. She often found herself waiting for him.

There was something new that was happening in the past two weeks. Whenever he would be late, he'd drop her a text to let her know and Mr. Taylor would bring her favorite desserts, drinks, and whatnot upon Aiden's request.

Cole was her shadow at work. Aiden requested her to resign from her job because things could get dangerous soon, but she refused politely, and Cole offered to stay close to her for her safety.

She had talked to her dad, and he told her he was working alongside Aiden. The Intel that Jacob provided was helpful and Aiden was planning an attack on the organization.
