Anastasia gradually opened her eyes. She brought her palm towards her eyes and rubbed them. The entire incident from yesterday's night, flashed like a movie scene in front of her eyes.
"Glad you are awake," she heard Alexander. Immediately, she turned left and saw he was rested beside her on the bed. She moved up to sit on the bed when felt Alexander's arm around her, who helped her in sitting. He placed a few pillows behind her back.
"How long did I sleep?" Her voice was meek and she was a bandage on the back of her left hand.
"It's been 9:30am," Alexander replied. "You needed glucose as you did not take meals the previous day," he added.
"I need my phone. I need to ask dad if he is fine," Anastasia said.
