Chapter 16— Following her each and every second.

~AURORA POV~

Rosie and I are returning to the house—she was driving the car and I was looking through the window.

It's been three days since Jacob hasn't attended college.

When Ronald asked Jacob in the message, Jacob replied, "He is in his hometown"—but I know, he is lying.

He is not in his hometown but somewhere else, here in New Orleans.

Our car balance slipped out of the blue when someone bumped into it. Rosie hurriedly stopped the car, taking left and right to balance it.

Oh, my goodness.

"Aaahhhh!" I yelled at the top of my lungs while grabbing the window.

"What the hell happened?" I looked at Rosie with wide eyes.

"Someone just bumped into the car!" Rosie muttered.

"Is it an object or something else?!" I asked her back, looking outside through the window.

"No, I felt like a human!" She replied.

"What?" I sounded, and we got out of the car immediately.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" I collided with the car as soon as the body captured my eyes.
