Numbing the pain

Was a word and way to describe how Kaiden felt, how helpless he felt, losing his love, his brother, and his mother figure all in the same day,

It hit him hard when he had to take karas body to the gravestone they had built for her, and her cold body lay in a box,

He hated all of it. this nightmare of a reality.

And though everyone cried, Kaiden had worked to remain strong, he held everything thing in, all his anger and anguish as he watched karas coffin being pulled to the ground,

He hated that they didn’t have much time together, and worse he didn’t have time to mourn her,

He left the burial ground to his brother’s private study, he needed somewhere to vent and be alone, his anger knew no bounds as he pushed books and shelves to the ground making him growl out in frustration, but it wasn’t long time till he heard a knock on the door,
