Episode 65

"Christian?"..

I called for my son the minute I reached home..

He runs downstairs and was almost hitting into a table, thankfully I got there ahead and heaved him out of danger..

"Whoa, please be careful" I said, walking him to the couch and sitting him down..

"Yes mom, what's up?". He says, for a child of his age, he surly knows how to behave mature. But will he after I tell him the truth about his father?...

"Son, I want to tell you something?". I hesitated.

"Tell me what?" He replied to me, putting his hand on top of my lap and gently squeezing it..

I got tongue tied as to either tell him the truth or lie, regardless of war I felt, I ended up telling him the truth.

"Son, I want to tell you something about your dad" I paused, watching how he'd react to my statement

"My dad, what happened to him?" He says, as he begins to pull his hand away that rested so calmly on mine.

I saw his hands were gradually withdrawing from me, I had to stretch out my own and pull the hands back.
