Chapter 23 The God Who Descended for Her

"Ah—" Gu Ruoyan instinctively held her arms in front of her, protecting her pale and delicate face. Suddenly, it was like a cloudy day. The sunlight was completely blocked by something, and her vision darkened.

Gu Ruoyan thought that she would faint like this, but in the thick shadow, she didn't feel any pain as expected. Instead, a strong male scent filled her entire body through her nose.

She opened her eyes and saw a familiar face.

His mouth was tightly pursed, and his lips were slightly pale.

Even so, his hands were still firmly supporting both sides of Gu Ruoyan's head, not relaxing in the slightest.
