When I walked down to the gate, I felt something strange. My wolf, Echo, was jumping around in my subconscious and was either agitated or excited. I couldn't tell.
"What is wrong?" I asked him.
"Something's happening! Something important! Something!"
Some help he was. I decided to ignore Echo and concentrate on what was happening. It was difficult even to focus on that because there was this amazing smell. I couldn't help but sniff the air, setting Echo off again.
Daemon seemed to notice how unfocused I was, and he definitely saw me sniffing the air.
"Is there a problem?" he asked.

Adriana's Point of View We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening discussing tactics and strategy. It was quite intense as we went through every possible scenario, and there were many of them. Knowing where Kree and her warriors were located was fortuitous as we didn't need to spend time finding that information out. After an hour or so, Daemon and I took a break to go and see the twins. With all the visitors arriving and subsequent meetings, we hadn't seen much of the twins today. If we weren't careful, our children would miss out on bonding time spent with us, and they would be grown up before we knew it.
