Lydia could not even steady hold the dagger because she mentally collapsed.

As Lydia panicked, Simon grabbed the dagger from her hand and slapped her.

Even though he liked Lydia a lot, he was enraged and jealous of her concern for Henry.

Lydia groaned and collapsed to the side. Simon approached her, and she retorted in shock and anger. "You—you lied to me just to take my dagger."

"Why would I lie to you?

"You—you son of a bitch!" Lydia was anxious and angry, and her face was filled with despair.

"Did you just find out?" Simon sneered, his eyes gleaming as he moved toward Lydia.
