Joshua blood turned cold in his veins, his heart was pounding. His lungs seized for seconds then start breathing and then stopped again, it seemed the ventilation coming into the hospital was not enough, was insufficient. His pain was indescribable, undefinable with words.
Monica stood rigid, things were getting more complicated than she thought, sweat broke out from her pores and she quickly wiped it off, her heart was sprinting as if it competed for survival.
Daniel stepmom on the other end starred into space, she was lost in her thoughts, so was Daniel; who just came in after escorting his girlfriend, fear bubbled his heart. The doctor's news whirl through his mind, possibilities swirl his brain but none stop long enough for him to create a positive meaning.
