Chapter 23

It was on the new year eve, six months after the death of Sarah and the rest who the police have tried to investigate her death and get rid of the zombies if truly their was any.

Erica was barely herself after the death of Sarah, it was very difficult for her adjust to living without her bestfriend but she was grateful to God that Joan was alive.

The family sat together celebrating the new year when Oliver suddenly went on one knee and proposed to Erica.

At first she tagged it a joke and yelled at him to stand but when he persisted, she realized that he wasn't joking.

Erica was overjoyed, she jerked from her seat and dragged him up to his feet hugging him closely.

She put forth her hand and Oliver slotted the ring into her fourth finger, they kissed for a while and every one came hugging and clapping for them.

It was a beautiful moment for Erica and every member of her family,  saying yes to the man whom she has dated longer than she ha
