Chapter 52

Erica shurgged and moved back to her seat.

She had missed Linda's call because of Oliver's sudden choke.

They started eating quietly when her phone started ringing.

Oliver took a peep, it was Oliver again.

His forehead suddenly began to bring forth sweat which slowly dripped down to his face.

He looked very uncomfortable as he feared that Linda must have called to tell Erica everything.

"Hello Linda..." Erica greeted wearing a warm smile as she picked the call.

Oliver pretended to be eating while he listened to the conversation.

He wondered Omid he should leave but on a second thought, that might make matters worse.

"I need to sit here and face this shit I created for myself, perhaps I would explain everything to her" he thought while chewing on his toasted bread.

"You promised that we would hangout but we didn't" Linda said wearing a long face.

"I haven't forgotten, we can still hangout today" Erica said.<
