Chapter 11

I woke up to the sound of howling outside. It couldn't of been but 5 o'clock in the morning. Wiping my eyes and realizing I know that howl, I walk to the balcony connected to my room which also connected to Rylin's room, and see down in the courtyard Rylin's wolf staring up at me.

"Guess morning training means before the chickens are up, huh?" I say mockingly but with a good bit of attitude.

I hurry down stairs through the hall down the stairs into the corridor and head out the front doors of the pack house.

He's still in wolf form starting to head to the back where he has miles of open fields. Guess the forest is off limits since the rouges are hunting me. Pity they're so beautiful, never seen such a beautiful stretch of nature.

His wolf just stared at me. Almost daring me to do something but what? I couldn't shift. I don't know how to shift willingly. I shifted out of anger and fear yesterday. How did he expect me to shift now, not to mention this early and still half asleep.
