“Fuck!” I scream aloud to the empty plane. I’m on my way to Guadalajara to find Esteban and bring him back home. The thing that’s worrying the hell out of me, even more than Meredith’s and Chris’s visions is that Nico hasn’t been able to get in touch with Esteban via mindlink or by phone.

Esteban’s cousin, Jake, had given us his cell phone number and we’ve all been trying to call him over the past few hours to no avail. It’s going straight to voicemail each time, like it’s turned off.

Now, I’ve just found out that Kayla has been taken by the Riding Hoods. My new stepmother and Summer’s mom. Just gone because of these damn cloth draped walking Roman candles. And they’ve threatened to take my sister as well.
