Solana's POV

When I woke up my hands started searching for him but my side is empty and upon opening my eyes that's when I found out that I am alone in the bed.

Maybe he already left for work.

What if he still has a fever?

My mind is filled with questions about Alton as I stepped out of the room. I headed towards the kitchen and my eyes widen when I saw him in the kitchen cooking something.

I thought he left already.

"Good morning," Alton greeted me when he saw me.

I smiled at him and walked towards the kitchen since I can't walk away now that he already saw me.

I opened his ref and took cold water.

Alton handed me a glass so I smiled at him awkwardly and took the glass in his hand.

I don't know why I am acting this way maybe because we slept together last night.

I sat on the bar stool as I drink the cold water.

"I just fry bacon and eggs and toast some bread, is that fine with you or do you want me to cook something else?" he asked looking at me directly in the eyes patiently waiting
