Chapter 55

Alton's POV

When I woke up Solana was already gone.

I looked for her in every corner of her unit but she was nowhere to be found and that's when I realized that she left...again.

After a while, my phone vibrated and upon looking at my screen I saw my secretary's name flashed on the screen.

"Sir I am sorry but the board is asking for an emergency meeting and they are demanding you to be there," he said.

I let out a deep breath.

"Tell them I will schedule a meeting next week," I said.

"Sir the business is going down. The company's profit decreased by 10%. Some of our investors want to pull out their investments. We are losing the company, Sir," he said. I frustratedly brushed my hair and then nod my head.

"I'll be there in an hour," I said then dropped the call.

I headed to the bathroom and then took a quick bath.

Luckily I have a spare suit from my car so I don't have to drive to the unit to get some clothes.

When I am done I headed towards my company.
