"Where are you going anyway?" Darcy asked as she rolled over to her stomach.
"I'm not sure yet," I answered, turning to look at the girl laying on my bed, but Marcy held my jaw and made me face the front.
"No moving," she said sternly and continued to work on my hair.
"Are you sure that this guy isn't secretly shady and is planning to kill you and dump your body somewhere?" Darcy continued firing me with questions.
I scoffed. "He isn't."
"What makes you so sure?"
"Well, I see no reason for him to kill me and he's just not that kind of person."
When my sisters found out that I was going out today, they were excited and insisted on helping me get ready. I was used to seeing Darcy bring hyper but having her twin join in was a change that I loved seeing. Marcy probably looked forward to it more than I did.

"I tried my best," I said, looking down at him from the couch. "Yeah, you did." He reached out and stroked my hair before standing up from the carpet. "Are you having fun?"
