Kelsey didn't say a word on their way home, even when they reached his penthouse. Mason noticed her quietness but ignored it. He wasn't really up for a conversation anyway. Kelsey placed her purse on the couch and made a bee-line to the kitchen. She was completely starving. During the dinner, she couldn't stomach to eat anything. Delilah and Kelsey arrived at a garden restaurant around 10:30 am. Mason left for work at the same time as they left for their brunch. Kelsey decided to get up at around five thirty in the morning when she gave up on getting some sleep. She'd been trying to get some rest but Delilah and Georgia's words kept haunting her.
