"Mommy, where is daddy?" Dennis asked as his mum tucked him in.

Even though Abigail had told Marcel she could find another husband in a blink of an eye, she knew... she could not introduced a different man to the kids or Grandma again, it's just instantly impossible.

"He went on a trip, and he would be back in like two weeks time." Abigail replied as she tucking in the duvet.

"But daddy didn't tell us he would travel." Elise murmured frowning.

"That was because he had an urgent business he had to attend to. He did not really had time to tell you guys and he is sorry for that."

"Can we call him then?" Maurice asked sitting up on her bed.

"No Maurice, your father might be busy with work. Besides you guys have to sleep early.... tomorrow is school and it's a Monday morning so I need the three of you to wake up very early, mama has to go to work."

"But I would have really loved to talk to dad."Dennis pushed on, on behalf of his sisters also.
