Depression

I left both Xavier and Theodore back at the warehouse and took a cab home. I was angry- no, I was livid! I knew he owned one of the strongest Mafia groups but I didn't know he did it to hurt people. I thought he was rather helping people.

I went into Theodore's room and searched his drawers for any weapon at all. I just needed to release stress. The fearless, confident, and bitchy Andrea I had managed to keep hidden in the closet for two years has now come back strong.

The old Andrea is gone all thanks to Theodore Black. I found a dagger with his name engraved on the handle and I took it. I already had his gun safely tucked into the waistband of my jeans so I walked into his built-in gym.

There was a dartboard in the middle of the room along with all other equipment for exercises. I went ahead to the dartboard and took out the gun.

I aimed for the center and shot successfully hitting my target. I did that for a while before I heard someone clap. "A gun in those delicate hands does suit you," I heard Theodore say.

I turned around and there he was all bandaged up. I smirked knowing that he was in pain because of me. "A bandaged arm suits you," I said sarcastically.

He rolled his eyes at me before walking to me, "But I don't get it. How does my innocent little Andrea know how to use a gun?" "Practice," I said vaguely. I pushed him to the side and walked out of his gym. I needed to freshen up. I had no time for his nonsense.

I got to my room and freshened up. I hadn't seen Xavier since I arrived so I went looking for him after I freshened up.

"Xavier," I whispered shocked. He looked tired and to top it all he was drinking. His eyes were bloodshot and his hair was disheveled. "Don't come any closer," he whispered.

I knew I was the reason why he looked like that and I felt guilty. "Xavier I'm sorry but just let me explain," I said.

"Explain what Andrea? What exactly do you want to explain. The fact that you are not so innocent as I thought you were or the fact that you know how to use a weapon or maybe I don't know the fact that you shot my brother?" He yelled. A tear fell from my eyes, "Please Xavier-"

"What more secrets are you hiding Andrea? I thought I was your best friend. I thought I knew you Andrea but I was wrong. The person in front of me isn't the Andrea I know," he said and pushed past me.

There was this pain in my chest like my heart was being ripped out of my body. I felt like I just lost my best friend and it was all my fault. I shouldn't have kept it away from him.

I collapsed on the ground as tears fell out of my eyes, "I'm sorry." "Andrea," I heard Theodore call behind me. I quickly wiped my tears and went upstairs before he could ask me any questions. I went into my room, locked the door, and cried till I passed out.

The next day, I stayed in my room. I didn't go out afraid that I might meet Theodore or even worse, his brother. I don't know what to say to any of them. That evening there was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I asked silently hoping it was one of the maids.

"Andy open up." Wait, Xavier? What is he doing here, I wondered. I hesitantly opened the door. He walked in and sat on my bed. "I'm sorry," I mumbled sitting beside him. I felt a bit dizzy because I didn't eat anything since I woke up but that's whatever.

"No Andy, I'm sorry. I was drunk and I said all those things to you. Yes I want to know why you hid all that from me but I didn't mean to hurt you with my words," he said guiltily.

With teary eyes, I hugged him. "I thought I lost my best friend," I whispered sobbing into his shoulder. He hugged me back tightly, "I'm never letting you go." My door opened and Theodore walked in, "Andrea would you like some-"

He stopped in his tracks seeing mine and Xavier's position. Xavier and I looked at him like he had grown another head. "Would you at least knock?" Xavier said to his brother voicing out my thoughts.

"This is my house. I don't have to knock," Theodore smirked. Xavier stood up glaring at his brother. I stood up and stood between both of them. "Stop it guys," I ordered. "He should've knocked on the door before entering. What if you were naked?" Xavier gritted out.

"Why on Earth would she be naked if she's with you?" Theodore snapped back. I was feeling dizzy and their back and forth arguments were not helping at all.

"Stop it," I tried to yell but it came out as a whisper. I felt dark spots cover my vision as I fell to the ground undoubtedly passing out.
