The pain he felt in his chest could not be quantified by anything in this world. The shock, the disappointment, the pain, the heartbreak, and most of all, the loss of hope. “How! How! How!”. Dario roared at the top of his voice, smashing his fists into the table that was now just pieces of wood. Over all the things he felt, the betrayal hurt the most. “She had been lying and pretending all this time James! All this time! I was fooled for months!” He roared out again, this time collapsing on the couch with tears rimming down his eyes. The one chance he had at a mate after waiting for a century, had to be an elf, and a betraying one at that. Everytime he remembers what happened yesterday. It feels the same way all over again.
