C H A P T E R 95 - Elijah.

I could not deny the fact that my mind was running at a mile a minute, trying to figure out what I was going to say to Samantha, and how exactly I was going to deal with what was going on. I knew that I needed to handle the situation carefully, even though I didn't feel the need to be cautious around her. If I had a choice in the matter, I would have taken her with me. But I knew that doing something like that would only make my trip to her previous pack harder than it was already going to be. For starters, she would slow me down considerably.

As I approached my house, I could not help but wonder how Samantha would react to the news that I was going to be leaving. Would she be happy that I was going to be gone for a few days? Or would she feel the same ache in her chest at the prospect of being seperated from me, just as I felt for her? I hoped that it would be the latter of the two options, for I did not think that I would be able to deal well with the fact that she did not even fee
