Mom seems calmer after saying goodbye.

“Sam, would you ask Cindy if we can make the move permanently?” Mom asks. “Im ready to give you the floor. My hope is that the two of you will fill it well.”

“I’ll come this afternoon and clear out the rest of her things and bring you yours.”
