Open Your Eyes

He opened his eyes and his features softened when he saw her sobbing silently. He tilted her face up to make her meet his eyes. As a mafia lord he had seen many gruesome sights that will make anyone piss in their pants. He had seen people begging for life and bleeding away, had witnessed heap of dead bodies lying in the sea of their own blood and never felt a thing. But somehow these harmles tears in her eyes....these crystalline beads in her beautiful eyes were inflicting sharp pangs in his heart. They unsettled him. He wiped them again so that she could look at him clearly and figure everything for herself.

"Do you know how wanted you are?" he enquired softly, referring back to the time when she had called herself unwanted. She only blinked at him, confused. The look in his eyes told her that he was awaiting an answer. She slowly shook her head.

A small smile played on his lips as he leaned down and pecked her lips. "I'll show you," he then murmured against her lips.
