She was aware that Colleen shouldn't have any expectations for Alexus' feelings, given that she had been the focus of her husband's attention ever since she returned as his wife and the mother of his children.

Rafaella was forced to admit that she was. "She was pretty gorgeous at an early age and is about the same age as Alexus."

"I wonder if Alexus noticed and if he's paying attention," Gwen stated. "How come they didn't stay together?"

"Colleen's family is rich, and she is the sole heiress of the Grant Pharmaceutical Company, just like the Latimer family. Our parents are friends. Alex and I became close when I was eight because of our pets. He had a male Leon Berger as a pet, which made my St Bernard dog pre
