Elena pov

He didn't come home for the whole night and even if I tried to get some sleep I couldn't. Alone in his house without any possibility to lock the door to the room and at the same time feeling trapped inside the house! I gave up in the middle of the night and started to change the linen in both rooms and clean his bathroom.

His scent inside his room calmed me down and I took the time to clean everything thoroughly before I was done.

Looking at the clock on the nightstand it is four in the morning and I give up. Feeling exhausted and I know one place where I can hide for a bit!

Taking an extra pair of pillows and two quilts I find them in a room neatly stocked away, I head down the stairs and make my way down to the cellar. Making sure every door is properly closed after me!

Going down the stairs I head inside the room further away and place them on the floor before I lay down and look at the lit candle on the small shelf.
