The moonlit forest lay shrouded in an ethereal glow, a celestial tapestry woven with silver threads. Each tree stood sentinel, their gnarled branches reaching skyward, casting enchanting shadows that danced in the moonlight. The air, thick with the fragrance of ancient pine, held a hushed symphony of whispers, as if the very heartbeats of the woods were conspiring in a mysterious harmony.

Ava rubbed her tired eyes and sat straight. She didn't know when she dozed off. She looked at Alpha Xavier to see that he was still unconscious.
